Grandstream Phones & Hardware

We pair our PBX platform with Grandstream's enterprise IP phones for seamless integration. Cloud-managed auto-provisioning means phones configure themselves right out of the box — plug in, power on, and start making calls. No manual setup, no headaches.

Auto-Provisioning via GDMS — Grandstream's cloud Device Management System auto-configures phones when connected. Ship a phone to a remote employee's home, they plug it in, and it just works — extension, contacts, speed dials all pre-loaded.
Grandstream Wave Softphone — Free mobile app for iOS and Android lets your team make and receive calls on their business number from anywhere — perfect for remote and hybrid teams.
Conference Rooms & Paging — Multi-party conference bridges with PIN protection, overhead paging and intercom, and fax-to-email — all built into the same system.
Built-in VPN for Remote Phones — Grandstream phones include OpenVPN clients for secure remote connections. Your remote workers get the same call quality and features as if they were sitting in the office.
Centralized Device Management — Manage and provision every phone across all your locations from one cloud dashboard. Push firmware updates, change settings, and deploy new devices without visiting each desk.

Common Questions

Everything you need to know about switching to VoIP. Still have questions? We are happy to walk you through it.

Can I keep my existing phone numbers?
Yes. Number porting is a standard part of every deployment. We handle the entire process through our SIP trunk provider, transferring your existing numbers to the new system. Porting typically takes 5-10 business days, and we set up temporary call forwarding so you never miss a call during the transition. Local numbers, toll-free numbers, and fax numbers can all be ported.
What internet speed do I need for VoIP?
Each SIP call uses approximately 85-100 Kbps of bandwidth. For a typical office with 10 simultaneous calls, you need about 1 Mbps of dedicated upload speed. Most business internet connections handle this easily. We perform a network assessment before deployment, configure Quality of Service (QoS) rules on your switches and firewall to prioritize voice traffic, and set up dedicated VLANs for phone traffic to ensure crystal-clear call quality.
What happens during a power outage or internet failure?
Our PBX systems have built-in failover capabilities. If your office loses internet, calls automatically route to mobile devices via the Grandstream Wave softphone app, forward to an alternate location, or go to voicemail. Your team can continue making calls from their smartphones over cellular data using their business number. We deploy a UPS (battery backup) with every installation to keep your PBX and network gear running through brief power outages, and configure SIP trunk failover rules for extended outages.
How long does it take to set up a new VoIP system?
A typical deployment takes 2-4 weeks from start to finish. Week one covers discovery and design — we map out your call flows, auto-attendant menus, and extension assignments. Week two is system configuration and testing. Week three includes number porting and user training. We go live with a parallel run period where both old and new systems are active. For smaller businesses with under 10 users, we can often complete the entire process in under two weeks.
Do I need to buy new desk phones?
Not necessarily. Many teams use the Grandstream Wave softphone app on their smartphones instead of physical desk phones, and that approach works well for remote and hybrid teams. If you prefer desk phones, we supply and configure Grandstream IP handsets — from basic two-line models to full-colour touchscreen executive phones. Some existing SIP-compatible phones can be repurposed. We will assess your current hardware and recommend the most cost-effective approach — whether that is softphones, new handsets, or a mix of both.
